Overview and Scope

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all purchases made on VSTor.me โ€” an online marketplace specialising in VST plugins, virtual instruments, audio effects, DAW software, and music production tools. All products sold through our store are digital goods delivered electronically upon payment confirmation.

Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be physically returned, our refund policy reflects the nature of the goods we sell while remaining as fair and flexible as possible. We handle every request individually and do not use automated rejection systems.

Our commitment: If you have a genuine problem with a product you purchased from us, we want to hear about it. We will always work with you to find a fair resolution โ€” whether that is a refund, a replacement, or technical assistance.

The Nature of Digital Goods

Under most consumer protection laws โ€” including the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations โ€” digital content that has been accessed or downloaded is exempt from the standard right of withdrawal, provided the customer was clearly informed before purchase.

By completing a purchase on VSTor.me, you acknowledge that the product you are ordering is a digital item that will be delivered immediately. This is disclosed clearly on every product page and during checkout.

Important: Once a download link has been accessed or a licence key has been revealed or used, the product is considered delivered. Refunds cannot be issued in these circumstances unless the product is confirmed to be defective or materially misdescribed.

Eligible Grounds for a Refund

We consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis when one or more of the following circumstances apply:

3.1 โ€” Product Not as Described. If a product is materially different from its listing on VSTor.me โ€” for example, if stated compatibility, features, or system requirements are inaccurate โ€” you are entitled to request a refund.

3.2 โ€” Confirmed Technical Defect. If a product is technically defective and our support team is unable to resolve the issue after reasonable assistance, a refund may be approved. We ask that you work with us during the troubleshooting process before a refund is considered.

3.3 โ€” Accidental Duplicate Purchase. If you have unintentionally purchased the same product twice, we will refund the duplicate order promptly, provided the second licence has not yet been accessed or activated.

3.4 โ€” Product Not Yet Accessed. If you contact us within 5 days and the download has not been accessed and the licence has not been revealed or activated, we may issue a refund at our discretion.

Note on compatibility: Before purchasing, please review the system requirements on each product page. Refunds due to incompatibility may not be approved if the requirements were clearly stated and your system does not meet them.

Situations Not Covered by This Policy

Change of mind. We are unable to issue refunds simply because you no longer want a product or have found an alternative.

Product already downloaded or activated. Once a download has been accessed or a licence key used, the product is considered delivered and consumed.

System or environment issues. Problems caused by your own hardware, operating system conflicts, third-party software interference, or failure to meet minimum system requirements are not grounds for a refund.

Requests submitted after 5 days. Refund requests must be submitted within 5 calendar days of the original purchase date. Requests received after this period will not be accepted.

Abuse of the refund process. We reserve the right to decline requests from accounts that show a pattern of purchasing and immediately requesting refunds.

Refund Processing and Timelines

Once a refund has been approved, it will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.

Stripe: Typically 5โ€“10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer.

PayPal: Typically 3โ€“5 business days for the funds to return to your PayPal balance or linked bank account.

VSTor.me does not charge any processing fee for approved refunds. The full purchase amount will be returned.

Refund confirmation: You will receive an email as soon as your refund has been initiated on our end. If you do not receive it within the stated timeframe, please contact your payment provider first as bank processing times can vary.

VSTor.me offers a complimentary installation and setup service with every purchase. Before submitting a refund request for a technical issue, we strongly encourage you to use this service. Our technicians can often resolve installation, compatibility, and configuration problems quickly.

You can request our Free Installing Service without affecting your eligibility or the 5-day refund window. In many cases, our team can get you up and running within hours.
